Senior Data Analyst 

Working as part of the Data & Analytics team, you will be working with the senior Data Team to help as the business grows and innovates – working within the commercial team you will be integral to the overall business success.
 
You will lead and develop our MI capabilities delivering actionable insights through the use of reporting & dashboards for winder business initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage & enhance the data models used in the customer lead generation process for our contact centre teams looking for both efficiency & effectiveness gains
  • Establish a full & incremental load process for the lead generation activity to provide more timely updates to data and work more agile
  • Provide business analysis support to our contact centre teams to identify requirements for new initiatives to enhance our conversion rates
  • Problem-solve and be able to meet deadlines
  • Provide leading MI & dashboards through our Self-service BI platform (PowerBI)
  • Provide ad hoc analysis
  • Share ideas and wider knowledge of data and analytics with the team
 
Requirements of you;
 
  • Advanced Level of Python and SQL
  • Python Essentials: (Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • SQL Essentials: T-SQL, ETL Tools - SSIS and SSRS
  • Visualisation Tools: PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik
  • Cloud base experience/ Kubernetes or Data science (or knowledge of)
Desirables:
  • BSc or MSc in quantitative discipline - Statistics, Physics, Math, Engineering, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science
  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Data Analyst
  • You have an enthusiastic personality and are able to get people headed in the right directio

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Java Developer to join a client of mine based in Exeter.

The successful Java Developer will be honoured with a 12-month contract operating through an Umbrella Company working inside IR35.  You will be a Full Stack Java Developer who is comfortable with integration Testing and have experience of previously working in a full SDLC role

Duties will include building in house applications for a number of business areas and my client will be looking for Developers who have great personable skills and have a strong team ethic.

This role will involve support work within a busy IT department on a 12-month contract basis.


The role is part time and involved working Monday to Friday for 4 hours in the morning (9-1).


The client are looking for candidates who are quite new to the industry and who are looking to further develop their career.


Responsibilities of the role -

  • Provide an effective IT support service in a customer facing environment
  • Installing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing IT hardware and software
  • Acknowledging all service requests and resolving them in a timely manner
  • Liaising with all levels of It professionals to ensure resolution
  • Being able to work to customer expectation standards and therefore work to agreed SLA's
  • Providing technical expertise, research and resolve complex queries


The ideal candidate should have an excellent working knowledge with the following -

  • 1 year experience (minimum) of IT deployment including maintenance, support and upgrading both new and legacy equipment
  • Customer service skills
  • Research and provide technical solutions of complex service desk issues
  • Have a University degree in IT or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment


Rate - £20.00 per hour to be paid via Umbrella service.
