My client, a technology led cyber-safety company that uses Artificial Intelligence and behavioural analytics to help safeguard children by detecting threats such as cyberbullying, sextortion, abuse and aggression, are currently expanding their development team with Android Engineers.

As an experienced Android Engineer, you will design and implement everything Android, from brilliant algorithms to beautiful user interfaces and experiences. Work closely with the other developers in our Android, iOS, Web as well as designers, testers and support teams to deliver together the best products and services.

Responsibilities
*Work on the latest architecture paradigms and technical challenges
*Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies
*Work in a lean agile environment with a flat hierarchy
*Develop prototypes quickly
*Play a key role in how our product evolves and our technology emerges
*Have strong influence in further refining and evolving our product feature
*Build high quality, performing, well tested applications and inspire those around you to do the same
*Be part of a technical leadership team and grow as much as you want with full management support

To be successful in this role you will have:
*Degree in Computer Science or a related field; extensive track record in software development can also be considered
*Minimum 3-5 years Android development experience in a commercial environment
*Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming
*Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK
*Solid experience with the full mobile development life cycle
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent testing, debugging, troubleshooting and communication skills
