The Client

This is an exciting chance for an Application Support Analyst to join an established Software House and Software Product Delivery Consultancy, that operate within the global Insurance markets. The Role

  • Working within a team environment, the application support analyst will assist in investigating and resolving application
  • and system issues as well as executing administrative tasks for clients and the team
  • Interrogating SQL databases – enhancing proficiency in database management systems
  • Develop skills in communication, time management, prioritisation, client service, IT disciplines, etc.
  • Attend regular client meetings and engage with key stakeholders in projects and client support teams
  • Alongside more senior members of the team visit client offices, and work remotely alongside clients as needed according to demands and any upgrades/periods of increased risk

Essential Skills

  • A formal tertiary qualification, preferably a completed degree in computer science, business information systems or similar
  • Able to communicate effectively with both customers (technical and non-technical) and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Confidence to seek support of peers and management as required
  • Good grasp of Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills

  • Acquired experience (1+ years) within a customer-facing software support role
  • Experience working in the insurance industry

Your experience:

  • You have previously built and deployed ETL workflows for continuous data delivery to model training infrastructure making sure it is robust and scalable
  • You are comfortable interacting with large datasets
  • Enhance data collection and data processing methodologies
  • Collaborate with the other team members who use various machine learning methods to build statistical models
  • Follow software engineering standards: testing for robustness, source control, data integrity verification and anomaly detection, debugging, code review, continuous integration
  • You are an experienced programmer and are comfortable around build in languages

You’ll be responsible for designing and building both supervised and unsupervised learning technologies to parse objects and determine their state as far as it is relevant to driving decisions. States might include object classifications, traffic signal states, orientations, wheel angles and human actions.

What will you do?

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll be a vital member of the Platform Team, deploying our self-driving tech stack both onto our fleet of vehicles and into cloud-based simulation environments. We are constantly testing the latest versions of software, as well as performing data collection missions in London and elsewhere. We index and annotate vast quantities of data from real-world missions, and use this together with simulation to improve the capability and safety levels of our stack.

You’ll develop tools to launch, run and monitor our autonomous driving stack, working closely with many different teams across the company from sensors, computer vision and machine learning to deliver features and improve performance.

Requirements

About You:
