Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a SC Cleared SQL Server DBA to join a leading Global IT company to sit within their Digital team, where you will work on client site in Central London.

You must already hold SC Clearance | Security Clearance for this role

As SQL Server DBA you?ll work in the Infrastructure team supporting the clients data centre migration programme.

THE BASICS:

You will support the infrastructure team with the data centre migration project. Some BAU support work may be required.

THE ESSENTIALS:

SQL Server 2012 / 2016

Data management ? As SQL Server DBA you will need extensive familiarity with data management principles and best practices in order to properly store, migrate, and structure data for multiple applications

Server development and maintenance ? this role also requires a strong grasp of server development and maintenance, including troubleshooting, data migration, and backup and recovery tasks

Problem-solving skills ? You?ll be skilled creative and a technical problem-solver, able to isolate and resolve database issues in real time to maintain access and data integrity

Software programming ? while you won?t write much code, you may advise developers on operations, scripts, and triggers to improve database access, and should be familiar with one or more scripting languages

Communication skills ? You?ll communicate to direct your teams, gather requirements, and prepare reports related to database issues

Process enhancement ? As SQL Server DBA you should be skilled at developing more efficient processes for handling and accessing data, automating recurring tasks, and performing routine maintenance

THE CONCLUSION:
