WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As the Lead within the team you will be overseeing individuals carrying out functional testing across our web and mobile applications, working closely with the wider Agile team. You will be using your proven communication skills to liaise with the Test team, Developers, and other departments Team Leads when handling any bugs and requests. This role has become live due to the expansion of the business so if you are proactive and want to join one of the UKs fastest growing IT companies then this could be the role for you! We are a very fast paced organisation, and we need someone comfortable working in a high pressured environment, and someone who can quickly adapt to change.

This is a hands off position which is very much focused upon test strategy, and overall people/team management.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE

JOB SUMMARY

  • Working directly with the business to develop and maintain Nominet’s Registry Solutions documentation, with accountability for its accuracy
  • Owning the delivery of documentation that will help both internal and external stakeholders understand and market our products
  • Remaining up to date with documentation tools and best practices, and making recommendations to the business as required
  • Working with to understand gaps in documentation and suggesting solutions to meet outstanding documentation needs
  • Ensuring any technical solutions suggested are compliant and in line with best practice and Industry policy
  • Assisting the Commercial Team by documenting details of competitor products wherever possible, maintaining an up to date snapshot of the competitive landscape
  • Working with the technical teams take client needs/requests and document solutions.
  • Building relationships and influence other teams/key stakeholders and working collaborative manner to deliver business requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to produce documentation that is well-structured and well-written
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders (Internal & External)
  • Knowledge of database programming including SQL and large RDBMS
  • Detailed understanding of software design principles and practices
  • Any knowledge of the following are highly desirable:
