As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will be required to:

  • Deliver cyber security improvements across technical infrastructure
  • Security due diligence for new products, suppliers, developments and change
  • Part of security incident response process
  • Enhancement and delivery of Shell Energy's SOC
  • Daily management/monitoring of Data Loss Prevention solution
  • InfoSec, Data Privacy Risk & Compliance assurance audits
  • Participate with security testing & analysis
  • Daily support of AWS security config & reporting
  • Support investigation of cyber related incidents

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, your background will cover:

  • Knowledge of, SIEM, IDS, Vulnerability Scanning & Management, Availability Monitoring
  • Network protocols experience
  • Windows & Linux O/S
  • Analysis of security incidents
  • Understand cyber threats, attack vectors, techniques, mitigation and detection

Desirable:

  • AWS cloud security & Data Loss Prevention
  • Vulnerability and Pen Testing experience
  • CREST:CRIA, CMRE, CNIA, or GIAC: GCIA, GCIH, CISSP

If working with the latest high tech kit in a critical environment, being customer focused, and having the flexibility of working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern appeals to you, then we have a permanent opportunity based in Mitcheldean for you to consider.

Ideally you'll have worked in a critical maintenance environment such as a data centre, hospital, or within manufacturing. Fully qualified (City and Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2), and 17th or 18th edition electrical qualifications, with some previous exposure carrying out critical facilities maintenance on plant such as UPS systems, BMS and generators. You'll have excellent communication skills, and take pride in working safely.

In return you'll be paid a salary of up to £34,000 per annum, plus you will have opportunities to increase your salary with regular overtime. You'll also have access to world class training and development, with one of the industries leading facilities maintenance employers.
