THE ROLE: Graduate Insights Analyst

Role Remit:    To provide robust data analysis to support the regional and national Customer Pricing & Retention strategy.   Commercial analysis of competitor prices, forecasting and modelling as well as customer experience journey analysis.

Proficient in Excel (spreadsheet modelling, pivot tables etc.) and SAS from your degree studies, you will have a strong commercial awareness of how data underpins business decisions.

You can expect to be working on exciting areas, such as:  liaising with internal colleagues within marketing, sales and pricing; ensuring data is recorded accurately; analysing new customer acquisition proposals; developing algorithms and processes to improve the quality of data; analysing current pricing impact on revenue and new customer acquisition, as well as longer term propensity modelling.  Becoming key to future Data & Insights initiatives.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Graduate Insights Analyst:

  • A very strong background in Maths and Statistics from University studies: the perfect applicant will have most ideally covered:
  • Experience of Operational Research and/or Marketing Analytics
  • Cleansing, manipulating and analysing large complex datasets in Excel
  • Use of SAS or SPSS (or both)

Of paramount importance, above technical ability and skills, is interpersonal communication ability.   An enthusiastic, people focused personality is required.  Meeting people across the business as a whole you should be friendly, professional, keen and eager.  A real people person you will make create strong professional bonds and relationships with those around you.   This is a lively enthusiastic team, who love what they do, so this type of environment should be something that you are actively seeking.

We're looking for a proven Control Systems Engineer to develop on board control software for the Hybrid Powertrain Systems including Battery Management. Work on development of the Hybrid system for the 2020 F1 season.

You will be accountable for full Control Software development, from concept to Simulation, development and validation. You will also support development for the necessary trackside and testing simulation tools.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience in the application of best practice software process and tools
  2. Experience in using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for embedded code generation
  3. Experience in C/C++ embedded programming and code review.
  4. Understanding of embedded architectures and communication protocols
  5. Understanding of simple software development toolchain

  2. Team player who respects and can deal with different culture working approach
