They are looking for an Administrator to join their team working on the Service Desk primarily dealing with the Engineers jobs, maintaining and updating systems and ensuring job sheets and invoices are received.

This role requires good attention to detail and a good telephone manner. My client is looking for someone who is organised and efficient with a good working attitude.

Salary is £23-25K dependant on experience

Monday - Friday

Duties:

  • Managing the Field based engineers diary/ jobs
  • Taking customer calls regarding Machine issues and give advise (over the phone troubleshooting)
  • Creating work via systems to be completed by Engineers
  • Creating sales orders for parts required for engineers to complete jobs
  • Invoice customers once work is completed and engineers job sheets/ invoice have been received
  • Chase engineers job sheets/ invoices if not received
  • Chase account managed over service contract pricing
  • Maintaining service programme i.e uploading relevant certificate
  • Arranging permits/ passes for engineer visits to sites
  • Raising PO for equipment needed for repairs/ call-outs

You'll take support tickets from all of the business throughout the UK, and you'll spend most days speaking to users, liaising with our internal resolver teams (like the Windows Team, the networks team and the deskside support team - some are based in Manchester and some at the other sites) and dealing with Third Parties (some are specialist Airport Tech companies, and others include Microsoft and hardware manufacturers). Our aim is to deliver a great IT customer experience to all our users, be they dispatching a plane in East Midlands or giving a presentation to the board in Head Office. During the night and at weekends, you'll be responsible for the delivery of IT service for at all our sites.
