My client, an up and coming online networking platform based in Bristol are looking for a UX / UI Designer to join them in their new state-of-the-art offices. The client are offering a salary of £40-£50,000, a very generous holiday package, as well as flexible working arrangements. I am working with a forward thinking solution based company, who are recognised and engrained within the remote workforce, providing software solutions for the care, management facility and commercial sectors.


Their aim is to reduce unnecessary paper work, cost and provide transparency through their solution based software to support the needs of service providers, which you will be an integral part of.

The Role

You will be working within a close knit agile team, in a busy modern office space. You will be learning, progressing and working collaboratively with like minded developers.

The core focus of your day will be VB.NET development, utilising Microsoft SQL Server on a Winforms-based solution. This also includes building API's in C# and web portals, built with ASP.NET MVC5 in C#. Most of your work will be in the latest version of VB.NET.

Key Skills

  • Experience in VB.NET/.NET Frameworks.

  • Competent with SQL & T-SQL Database.

  • Understanding of Agile processes.

  • Liaising with the client’s Program Manager on a regular basis to discuss and interpret development specifications for changes and enhancements to the web tool, producing the requirements documentation and briefing the development team for quoting.
  • Monitoring progress of scheduled web development with the IT team and keeping the client informed.
  • User acceptance testing of any new development, scheduling and communication regarding deployment
  • Producing training materials, organising and hosting training sessions.
  • Hosting calls with the client’s Operations teams to discuss tool performance and progress of changes requested.
  • Establish the full scope of a client request and produce requirements documentation
  • Provide training face to face or via web conferencing
  • Project manage key pieces of development and work with IT to prioritise delivery in alignment with resource available
