Due to company expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Assistant Site Manager to join one of the largest mixed-use regeneration schemes in Europe with over £500 million build cost based in South East London

As Assistant Site Manager, you will be reporting to the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager.

Roles:

  • The Assistant Site Manager will co-ordinate, structure and organise the Sub-contractors and Site Logistics for a Section of Works (Block or Core)
  • Implement the Construction Phase, Emergency Response and Logistics Plans
  • Monitor and control subcontractor performance and take mitigating action when required. Monitor against approved programmes and agree short term programme and sequencing
  • Lead by example and ensure the company Policy & Procedure is implemented on the Project
  • As the Assistant Site Manager, you will ensure QA procedures are implemented, followed and monitor for section of works. Liaise with Building Control/ NHBC/ Consultant Inspections and close out any reports/ actions with CM. Collate the Plot Files and Handover Documentation
  • Check quality compliance for Subcontractors, Supervision and Management and end product.
  • Check details and ensure the correct drawings/ specifications are being followed
  • Monitor and report to the CM on all aspects of the project including Programme, Progress, Quality, Key Issues, Subcontract Performance, Staff Performance and Delivery of work section
  • The Assistant Site Manager will implement H&S Management on the project including managing and maintaining the H&S Filing
  • Hold Trade Progress and H&S meetings
  • Ensure RAMS produced, signed off and adhered to for each work activity
  • All H&S and QA reporting through the system

  • Groundworks and concrete frame package of £12million. Consisting of a basement, split level ground floor podium
  • SFS, Windows, Brickwork, Bolt on balconies lifted in by Tower Crane
