Your new role
You will be responsible for developing, delivering and enhancing commercial propositions and programmes tailored to meet the needs of customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with both ecosystem partners and venture capital partners.
  • Work with marketing teams to promote the offering to the start-up community.
  • Continue to evolve the company strategy and programme by identifying, analysing and acting on the needs of start-ups and by monitoring and acting on start-up trends.


What you'll need to succeed

  • To succeed, you will need good commercial awareness, broad experience in a partner and customer facing role with product management experience.
  • The ability to define and create commercial licence agreements.
  • Experience in IP licensing and its value to the licensees would be an advantage.
  • A degree with a Business or Engineering relevance.

A Fantastic role has just become available with a market leading Clearing House in London looking for a Senior Product Manager (Rates, Derivatives, Listed Derivatives, OTC, Settlements, Clearing) to lead their Rates Product team. In this role you will oversee the development of the Rates Clearing product across EMEA.

You will be the key link between the business and IT and will need to co-ordinate with varying stakeholders both internally and externally to manage their expectation around product delivery. This role is key in future proofing the clearing technology and you will have to provide input with the technical solution design process in mind as well as defining the Product Roadmap.

To be considered for the role of Product Manager - Rates (Rates, Derivatives, Listed Derivatives, OTC, Settlements, Clearing) you must have the following experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Listed Rates / Derivatives clearing / OTC Derivatives
  • 5+ years within a Product Manager role
  • Document/review business requirements ensuring that a sound approach to market is adopted
  • 1st Class degree in Computer Science or similar degree
  • Proven ability to communicate with various stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience in producing and defining product roadmaps & documentation
  • Back ground working within a Clearing House, Brokerage or Exchange

  • Lead the implementation/on-boarding of the system.
  • Understand a client’s business and customize the product to fit their needs.

  • Work with the training team to create a unique training experience.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience implementing software into large organisations, with exposure liaising with senior external stakeholders. Exposure working with financial services clientele is a strong preference but is by no means a pre-requisite. Strong communication and analytical skills are required along with exposure as a Project or implementation Manager.
