Contracts Manager

Our client based near Crowborough, East Sussex is looking for a Contract Manager with Telecoms experience to take on this exciting new position within the company. You will be working alongside the Managing Director and senior management team. The company base themselves on being a friendly place to work, benefits include; company car, parking nearby, 20 days holiday plus all the bank holidays, Christmas party as well as team building and charity events. The working hours are flexible Monday to Friday.

Duties include

You will be supporting the Managing Director and working with the senior team ensuring that Project objectives are delivered as well as managing the operational team. You will come from a Telecom background, hold a valid NRSWA full Supervisor Street works card, units 10 to 16 and have Project Management experience.

The main duties include;

  • Maintaining Internal and external customer relationships and meeting clients expectations
  • Overseeing the management team, and project Control within the business
  • Maintain Quality of work in accordance with SLA and KPI
  • Liaising with clients and other interested parties to ensure that programs are completed on time
  • Ensuring that work streams are planned and delivering on schedule and on budget.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate project, quality, change control and risk management processes.
  • Coordinating engineers
  • Resource the projects appropriately
  • Plan works to be carried out in a safe and organised manner
  • Deliver works to budgets that have been set, Provide reports
  • Monitor to ensure works are carried out to the highest of quality.
  • Manage the planning of works start to finish & oversee the progress of works on site.
  • Assist commercial team in accordance with company procedures.
  • Complete quality audits.
  • Ensure that All teams comply with the Company's health and safety procedures.

You will have

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Hold a valid NRSWA full Supervisor Street works card, units 10 to 16.
  • Have extensive working knowledge and supervisory experience on the Openreach Civils/ flex & desilt network.
  • Have experience of working and building relationships with Local Authorities.
  • Experienced and proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to analyse problems and offer and implement solutions.
  • Self-motivated and flexible and have the drive to achieve the company and client's targets.
  • Clear understanding and use of risk & issue management and Escalation processes, ability to identify issues and take corrective action
