A leading financial firm based in the City of London is looking to hire a talented Network Engineer (Cisco, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, CCNP, Financial Services) to join their global Enterprise Communications Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting my client’s network across all European offices.

A market-leading Financial Services company based in the City of London is looking to hire a talented Network Engineer who will help develop, manage and maintain their core infrastructure standards within their current network infrastructure.

Solutions Architect role will include:

  • Gathering requirements, producing functional & technical specifications and communicating between business & development
  • Solution configuration using SQL / SQL Server – you must be able to write queries, do multi-table work, joins, stored procedures, optimisation etc
  • Deliver the customised solutions to internal clients – engaging across business & technical teams to drive solution
  • Identify system issues and work towards resolution – this will require you to find and analyse user issues, communicate needs of the post-trade / reconciliations area to the technical development teams and monitor changes 

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience of:

  • Business Analysis – gathering requirements, producing functional & technical specifications
  • Technical / development work – the role does not require hands-on development but will need an in-depth understanding of technology and in particular advanced SQL / SQL Server skills

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced EUC Manager to work for a well-known global organisation on a permanent basis in the heart of Newcastle.

As the EUC Manager, you will be responsible for the operation and strategic development of all EUC technologies. You will report to the Head of Service Delivery EMEA and work closely with the other regional leads such as the Applications Support Manager, Network Manager and Infrastructure Manager as well as other regional IT Service Delivery Managers.

Please note that although this role will be predominantly based in the UK my client is part of a global organisation who offer a 24 hour a day operation. Therefore, all candidates will need to be flexible and be able to work out of hours if required and act as an escalation point.

(As well as working across all UK-based locations, international travel may be required.)

You will have the following skills/experience:
  • Extensive experience of managing an end user computing team including a track record of mentoring and building a high-quality function.
  • Solid experience of Citrix, Intune, SCCM and other Microsoft end point management technologies.
  • A sound understanding of the future direction and road maps for Citrix and Microsoft end point management technologies.
  • Experience of successfully applying and maintaining desktop security.
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of PC build process optimisation and modern techniques for managing the desktop,
