Rapidly growing provider of Fintech / Regtech solutions is looking for a Senior Salesperson to join their team in London. Their SaaS platform supports buy and sell-side customers in meeting some of the industry’s most pressing demands around regulatory compliance.

They are backed by one of the most sought after VC’s in the fintech sector and have exciting growth plans in place for 2020 and beyond. They are looking for someone with a track record and a buy side network of contacts to help them drive revenue growth forward.

The role

  • New business sales targeting buy-sides (you won’t be stopped from winning sell-side customers though) in the UK and non-French speaking Europe
  • Convert in-bound leads alongside generating your own via your network and attending events etc.
  • Build and close pipeline in line with agreed annual quota
  • Maintain close relationships with existing customers to maximise upsell opportunities
  • Represent the brand at networking and industry events
  • As a start-up you will need to be prepared to complete some tasks outside of a strictly defined sales position to support the overall efforts of the business

Essential Requirements

  • Proven new business track record of selling software and/or SaaS solutions to buy side customers
  • Able to thrive in a start-up environment
  • Team player – willing to support the overall objectives of the business

Desirable skills

  • Scripting (Perl, Bash)
  • Previous experience working with Exchange Native Protocols (eg, UTP, ITCH, MITCH)
  • Experience with supporting low latency / high throughput / high availability / distributed market data platforms.

Harrington Starr are currently working with a leading Capital Markets firm who urgently require an Infrastructure Project Manager for a large Data Centre migration project to the Cloud. The main part of this project will be extracting the data from the Data Centres utilising a number of 3rd party suppliers before migrating to Azure.

Key duties:

  • Working closely with Technical architect to ensure the correct execution for the migration from the Data Centre
  • Reporting costs against budget to senior stakeholders
