Harrington Starr has partnered with a banking service provided, located in the heart of London City. Currently operating for 5 years now and having successfully acquired a transaction processing company – my client offers services to corporates, FinTechs, Exchanges and Brokers to help streamline their banking needs.  Offering; payments, FX and compliance as a service, this organisation is soon set to become the leaders in their space.  I am searching for a Business Development Manager to join the team.

The Role

• Attending various, relevant networking events to introduce the organisation and its’s services
• Developing a strong pipeline and ensuring that the relevant teams are involved to make these deals happen
• Work across multiple verticals and territories at one time
• Lead generation – through events, your network and other tools provided to you

Desirable

• Ability to demonstrate a network within the FinTech community (c suite)
• Strong communication and networking skills, a social butterfly ..
• Self-starter – this is an environment where self-motivation is key
• A background in payments as you need to know who the players in the market are
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Business Development

Global Product Marketing Manager (VP) – OTC Derivatives

I’ve got the pleasure of partnering with the Buy Side’s leading supplier of Execution and Order Management Software to help build out their OTC Derivatives offering with the introduction of a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive change and offer their clients best in breed technology. As part of this role you will be required to canvass the market and build an understanding of what clients and customers like and what they are after. You will be expected to understand the market structure of Asset Management and the Hedge Fund space and know all the major protagonists to leverage their knowledge and expertise.

In this role you will lead the Global product roadmap to ensure that you are keeping up with market trends and staying ahead of your competitors by defining the pricing structure and direction that the product will move. You will be key in driving growth of a high performing product marketing team that will drive change in EMEA and validate market opportunity.

Key skills and responsibilities:

• OTC Derivatives – Being an SME and understanding the market structure
• Commercial experience of OTC Derivatives whether that’s from a Trading Desk or as a Product Manager within the Front Office Buyside Software environment
• Proven history of driving product strategy and defining a product roadmap from inception through to completion
• Define market needs by working with clients to shape the platforms functionality and usability
• Previous marketing experience in the fintech industry
• Exceptional product marketing knowledge and a demonstrable ability to position complex fintech solutions for maximum revenue return

I’m working with an innovative fintech firm who has won multiple awards for being a great place to work. They are looking for you to join their team in a Product Design role focusing on UX/UI Design. You will be working on green field cutting edge applications as well as updating existing tools making sure you are following and setting trends in the market.

In this role you will be collaborating closely with Product Management as well as Developers to create the NexGen platform based on User Experience with a client focus at heart. This is a great opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and help influence change in order to have a better UX/UI outlook and be design focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements and customer research into great ideas, wireframes, mock-ups and with detailed UI specifications
• Creating prototypes and wireframes for design evaluation and user testing
• Use key user research to understand the full picture of trading systems and the nuances that are involved in processes
• In-depth and hands on approach to design of web and mobile applications from the ground up

Skills and Experience

• Financial services experience within a Trading Platform environment
