IT Support staff work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment which provides services over the phone, through e-mail, phone, in person.
You will recive full training, so you can carry out the following duties day to day: -
- To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications.
- To assist all users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
- To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
- To install and configure new IT equipment. To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware To resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners.
- To maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
- Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical clients.
To be successful in the role, you must be a natural problem solver with good communication skills and a basic technical understanding of IT.

Required, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You will have a qualification in IT or Computer Science - from school, college or university.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Apple Macintosh computers and laptops
- You must have a keen interest in IT
- An ability to demonstrate excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- To have exceptional problem solving skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Must be able to demonstrate some basic 'hands-on’ skills, such as PC build, router configurations, cabling, server work
- Must be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team with limited guidance
