A world renowned software company in the healthcare industry are opening a Manchester office to help create a DevOps team to work on an incredibly exciting product that is involved in changing people's lives every single day. Joining forces with teams in London, America and Australia the opportunity is there for you to grow with the team as the office expands, with the aim of founding a tech team of 30 this year.

This is an entirely new role as they take ownership of the IT estate from shared services with their parent company.

As such it is a great opportunity to shape and develop the IT function, including processes and best practises, and to recruit a small support team.

It is also a great opportunity to get involved in lots of interesting project work including cloud migrations, server replatforming, and the introduction and integration of new tools and applicatons for analytics, BI and data warehousing.

We require an experienced IT manager who has experience of;

Governing IT Operation, managing Infrastructure, Configurations, Service/ Support

Software/ Applications support, governance and procurement

Hardware/ EUC support, governance and procurement

Beneficial experience would also include;

Incident & Problem Management, and Business Continuity

Process Automation

Information Security compliance implementation

Financial Services experience
