We’re looking for a creative person to join our growing Digital UX & Design team. In this position you will be responsible for creating and designing user interfaces for websites and apps.

You will use your design skills to create design concepts including sketches, user flows, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and deliver pixel perfect UI screen designs
- Work with existing design layout and element styles to create a consistent experience
- Work closely with UX designers using wireframes, prototypes, style guides to effectively
communicate your design ideas
- Design for varying screen sizes, with understanding of element optimisation on smaller devices
- Work closely with and support the Development team, continually communicating effectively
your design
- Work as part of a team and contribute to getting the job over the line

Desirable:

- A keen interest to develop their UX approach (setting up tests, running analysis workshops,

They will assist with the preparation of documentation required for production projects in accordance with each project's published schedule. They will take responsibility for ensuring all literature is translated into the local language required for each project. They will take responsibility for the structure and management of the library of manuals. This is a job for somebody who is organised, enjoys getting things right, well presented and completed, as well as a love of the English language and an interest in Engineering

This job will be office based in Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire, although there will be occasional requirements to visit sites to see equipment in operation or to meet customers.

The Technical Author - Engineering will part of the Company's Compliance Team where machinery standards are defined and verified.

Personal Profile:

• A strong command of English language is essential, and good communication skills are required.
