Main Job Purpose:

You will be part of an enthusiastic highly skilled internal IT support team, supporting end users and a variety of systems including Desktop, Telephony and SaaS solutions.  Working as the Internal Support Engineer in a small supportive team, your role will include maintaining internal systems, troubleshooting, identifying causes, developing resolutions to system problems. You will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies and as well as BAU support, get involved in some project work.

Job Summary:

  • Taking ownership of 1st/ 2nd line IT support issues
  • Build and support Windows and Mac laptops and desktops.
  • Responsible for administration of Cloud based solutions such as Sharepoint Online, Service-Now, Salesforce Webex Teams etc. Maintaining the integrity and availability of the services.
  • Be the main escalation point for all Active Directory issues. Proactive maintenance including software updates, system upgrades.
  • Administration and support of Azure environment, Cisco CUCM or equivalent 
  • Providing remote support to other sites when necessary
  • Incident Management: Ensure that incidents are resolved in a timely manner to meet the defined service levels.
  • Proactively help resolve help desk tickets (using ServiceNow). ·
  • Follow the change management process to ensure all changes to infrastructure and services follow the agreed process and do not cause unplanned outages.
  • Supporting projects, working with other internal departments or with external vendors where required to deliver the solutions within agreed timescales.
  • Providing desk side support, administration, installations & moves etc. providing 1st-4th line support, in response to incidents, requests and problems.
  • Adhering to the IS incident, problem, change, configuration and project management processes to meet agreed Service Level Targets. This may require some out of hours working and occasional travel to other offices in support of the IT infrastructure.

  • Device encryption : Bitlocker for windows devices and File Vault for Macs
  • Printer hardware support and remote management
  • Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with ISO20000
  • Providing support for MAC, PCs and IPhone/IPad devices
  • Work within an ITIL/ISO 20000 and 20001 framework to preserve vital production services and produce appropriate documentation. Maintaining our in-team SOP documentation and knowledge base when necessary
  • Assist with daily routine checks which involve SCOM monitoring checks

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an IT support role
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Intune, CA servers and Office 365 administration

Responsibilities:

- Keeping Rosters update and forward planning for holidays and long term sickness. This will naturally include holiday entry and cover.
- Once rostered, ensuring cover is arranged with correctly trained staff in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Dealing with late requests for cover from Customers, arranging cover with security officers, updating People Hours and informing the customer of the cover details.

Successful Applicants will:

- Be computer illiterate

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and ambitious Helpdesk Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the operation and a team of Contract managers, during out of hours. You will have to ensure that everything is running well, reports are completed on time and that open communication channels exist at all times. Successful applicants must have help desk experience/ supervisory experience and hold a current SIA license.?

Location: Soho

Hours: 7pm - 7am - 4 on and 4 off pattern (Nights Only)

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Must have previous scheduling/helpdesk experience within the security industry

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following duties:

Responsibilities:

- Keeping Rosters update and forward planning for holidays and long term sickness. This will naturally include holiday entry and cover.
- Once rostered, ensuring cover is arranged with correctly trained staff in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Dealing with late requests for cover from Customers, arranging cover with security officers, updating People Hours and informing the customer of the cover details.
- To ensure that the welfare of all officers is maintained through adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- The preparation and submission of People Hour reports and data in line with the customers' and managements' requirements.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by Senior Management.

Successful Applicants will:

- Have a great understanding of the security industry and the importance of client care and customer service
- Have a valid SIA licence and the right to work in the UK
- Be computer illiterate
- Have at least 2 years help desk experience, including any rostering system.
- Take the initiative, when needed and to have the confidence to make decisions.
- Be trustworthy, reliable and flexible
- Be able to demonstrate a 5-year screening history.
