***This is a permanent position*** A global business leading the design and manufacture of a specialist product range are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Lead to join their facility near Basingstoke.

The company has a strong pipeline of new and future high quality products to supply a demanding expanding marketplace. Their employees all share the same philosophy of working hard, having fun and being part of one cohesive team.

Do you see yourself technically leading a small team to bring concepts to life involving bespoke industrial machinery that are used in a range of industries such as medical, defence and vacuum sciences and also having the opportunity to oversee the whole product life cycle within a fast paced environment? Essential skills:

  • 2/3 years' experience in a senior/ lead capacity (responsible for a small team)
  • Design for manufacture within a highly regulated environment (aerospace, automotive, scientific, machinery etc…)
  • Minimum Degree qualified within an engineering discipline or equivalent.

AZURE DEVOPS ENGINEER

A key client i am working with have an urgent requirement for a DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

    • 4+ years of professional experience working on cloud platforms (Azure)
    • Production experience of containers and container orchestration tools (Docker/Kuberntes/ECS)
    • Experience in working with enterprise scale applications, API Gateways, high availability architectures, load balancing & disaster recovery
    • Knowledge of application and cloud security fundamentals
    • Experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines including production deployments
    • Experience building and working with logging and metrics solutions (ELK/Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana)
    • Commercial experience of at least one configuration management tool (Ansible/Puppet/Salt/Chef)
    • Knowledge of testing pyramids and their application to modern application architectures (microservices/SPAs)
    • Demonstrable experience of debugging applications in at least one major language (e.g. Java/Python/NodeJS/Go)
    • Knowledge of at least one package/dependency management system (e.g. Maven/Gradle/NPM/Composer/Yarn)
    • In depth experience of Git including development and feature based workflows and at least one Git solution (e.g. Github/Gitlab/Gerrit/Bitbucket)
