Becoming a Peripatetic IT Technician with Capita - IBS Schools
As a Peripatetic IT Technician you will have experience in IT support within the school environment, to provide technical support to our growing customer portfolio.
The role is for a peripatetic technician, travelling to several schools each day within Worcestershire and surrounding area.
What you'll be doing:
* Provide scheduled technical support and maintenance to your own set of schools.
* Lead and assist on larger installations in schools in line with documented project plans.
* Provide reactive IT support as required, including telephone support, remote support, and site visits.
* Work closely with other departments of the IBS Schools Team including Broadband, procurement, websites etc.
What we're looking for:
* Providing support to IT users on current operating systems and applications including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and training on a variety of hardware.
* Working with servers to provide resources to users, including file storage, email, security, backups etc.
* Setting up and maintaining networks, both software and hardware.
Must have full UK Driving License

The team is always developing new ways of improving schools' use of ICT; your ideas and contributions will enable the team to continue to deliver a top-quality service.
