We are looking for an Accounting / Payroll Application Support Analyst with experience of working in or supporting Operational, Commercial and Finance systems ideally with Payroll or Purchase order processing knowledge to join our a global construction software group supporting more than 4000 customers in 40 countries across 6 continents.
You will join the support service team assisting customers with any software issues that they may encounter. The team provides costing payroll support across UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and the Caribbean and Middle East. Support is the keystone in helping foster long-term partnerships with their customers.


Responsibilities
- Provide telephone/email support to customers with the aim of resolving support tickets. Where necessary utilise remote access to help diagnose and solve problems
- Analyse, replicate and resolve customer support tickets within the escalation guidelines
- Liaise with internal departments and managers to ensure swift resolution of outstanding customer tickets
- Identify repetitive issues and pass to the relevant team for resolution giving assistance if required
- Ensure a high standard of written and oral communication with customers and management
- Pro-active communication with your Manager to ensure all issues are raised as they happen and dealt with in a timely fashion
- Travel and attend meetings as required both internal and at customer locations


Required Experience
- A good understanding of Accounting in the UK including Payroll.
- Experience in Construction Accounting is desirable.
- Confident and able to work on own initiative
- Well organised and able to guide customers with a firm and assured manner
- An understanding of Purchase order processing is desirable
