We are on the lookout for an Associate who will play a vital role in making Entrepreneur First the default career preference for the most ambitious individuals in the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, contact and convert exceptionally talented individuals to learn more about EF, and ultimately apply. This role sits within our Growth and Marketing function, and works closely with the teams in our Berlin, Paris and London teams.

 

Identifying Talent (30%) 

You will independently lead on finding exceptional individuals and real outliers we EF should invest in. You have the challenging but incredibly exciting task of finding world-class founders before they are founders. You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy pipeline of new leads to engage and assess, in line with targets. To help you, you'll use in-depth criteria we have formed, and work closely with Local Talent Managers and General Managers to get feedback. You’ll use tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ResearchGate, and GitHub, as well as other non-conventional sources like Twitter, competition rankings and university websites.

 

Contacting and Engaging Individuals (40%) 

You will lead on the first communications and outreach to those individuals, in most cases catalysing their interest in EF and entrepreneurship. You'll get to experiment with different forms of outreach and copy, but always maintaining a personalised approach. Your mission will be to convert those leads to have a further conversation with a member of the EF team. As you become more experienced, you will develop processes and best practices to optimise sourcing and positive response rate, ultimately creating an intelligent and efficient sourcing function.

 

Stakeholder Management (15%)

Get regular feedback from Local Talent Teams on the leads engaged. Report weekly on progress against targets, keeping all stakeholders in the loop on progress.

 

Data Management and Reporting (15%)

Ensure you maintain our CRM as a single source of truth for leads contacted and engaged.

SuccessFactors Specialist (Integration, Data & Reporting)

The Job: We’re an in-house HR technology team with big plans to automate and digitise the employee lifecycle. Can you help us join up our systems and drive better insights to help our workforce and business?

You’ll be a SuccessFactors expert in integrations, data & reporting, with a strong technical skillset to extract, transform and load data between systems.

The Location: The team is primarily based in Corby, with flexibility for remote working

What does the job really look like?

The Day to Day

System Integrations

  • Designing, developing and managing integrations between our HR systems. This will be using the tools SuccessFactors provides (report centre, integration centre, APIs), and other tools and techniques for data transformation (currently Excel & MS Access, but we need to move to more robust & scalable solutions - see longer term).

  • Knowledge of SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) set up is needed.

Reporting

  • Working with HR stakeholders to understand their needs - what is the question they need to answer, why, what action they will potentially take and the data needed to support it

  • Developing simple and complex reports in SuccessFactors - getting the data out and manipulating it into the format that we need

  • Leveraging the tools in SuccessFactors to develop and deliver regular and consistent self-service reports to our end users

  • Managing data quality and the toolset to identify data issues and errors

For the Longer Term

Developing our integration toolset

  • Moving us away from Excel and Access as data transformation tools towards more robust and scalable solutions (tech TBD, but SQL Server in interim and potentially middleware like Dell Boomi)

  • Moving away from flat file transfers and SFTP to real time integrations (APIs)

Supporting New Projects and data/integration requirements

  • Designing & developing integrations into new & existing downstream systems

  • Designing and advising on the data architecture in SuccessFactors and between systems to ensure data quality is maintained and user experience is
