Company profile:

You will be working for one of the most well respected Software Engineering companies in the UK. They're well established in both the public and private sectors, and you will get the chance to work on ground breaking projects within the intelligence and security space

They are looking for Mid-Level and Senior Software Engineers with between 2-6 years' experience working within a commercial setting. They will consider Engineers from any OOP background- It is more about adaptability and willingness to learn. They use a range of software languages and tools based around different projects so someone who is adaptable and keen to learn would be a strong fit.

Due to the nature of the role you must be eligible for SC clearance.

Necessary skills:

They need individuals who are able to hit the ground running and who most importantly can demonstrate skills in: Windows server 2008, Windows 10 and 0ffice 365

Responsibilities:

  • To provide 2nd line technical support for around 600 staff and IT infrastructure which includes PCs, laptops, servers, networking devices, tablets, printers and telephones

  • To work in a team of 16 people to collaborate with different expertise to accomplish different IT projects including current Agile roll out

  • To provide support for various internal departments and external investment department under strict Service Level Agreement using ManageEngine ServiceDesk plus

  • To provide remote troubleshooting and support via Bomgar

  • To provide user account and email support on Active Directory, Exchange server and Office365

Duration: 1-2 month rolling contract
Rate: £18-20p/h Umbrella (May be negotiable dependant on experience)
