Software Engineer - C++ / Matlab / Python - Edinburgh - Up to £50k + Bens

I have a very technical and challenging Software Engineer opportunity that will excite even the most experienced Engineers.

I want to talk to Engineers who have extensive experience with C++ as well a strong working knowledge with Matlab and Python for a client based in Edinburgh.

You will work on complex programmes using Matlab /LabView to interact with instruments, test platforms and devices working to OOP principles. There will never be a dull moment within this role due to the nature and complexity of the projects.


What you`ll be doing:
- Develop and deploy tools in response to the needs of the wider business
- Data processing, mining, manipulation, & data visualisation
- Generate software documentation, user manuals and verification reports
- Working with technology across device driver level hardware & firmware

The skills you`ll need;
- A strong working knowledge of C/C++
- Experience using Matlab and LabView software platforms
- Knowledge of software, hardware & instrumentation (particularly interfacing)
- Experience working to OOP Principles
- Excellent programming experience using Python
- Additional experience of FPGA is highly desirable
