Responsibilities:


- Evaluating, analysing, and interpreting information and requirements to inform the design and development of scalable automation testing frameworks.
- Applying specialist knowledge, to define and create automated functional and regression tests using well structured-maintainable code.
- Designing, developing and delivering project test plans and test specification based on a variety of documents that outline both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assurance of testing cycles for externally delivered projects, validating and approving documentation, and outputs of testing, escalating issues and risks appropriately.
- Provide specialist QA and Automation Test advice and guidance, provide defect triage sessions with selected users, and third parties to resolve issues that affect bespoke services, third-party applications and configurable of the shelf.

Network Support Engineer - Chippenham, Wiltshire - £30,000-£38,000

My Chippenham based client are looking to bring on board a Network Support Engineer to join their team in maintaining and supporting all server, switch and network platforms.

You will be coming into the business to ensure that all technical issues are resolved within a timely manner over the phone, deskside and via email. You will be comfortable in talking technically and putting things into layman's terms too. You will be comfortable in dealing with 3rd party suppliers and attending meetings with service providers, so having the confidence in this field is important.

Technically speaking, you will need a good technical understanding of windows desktop GRE, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS. You will also need experience of configuring and installing various network devices and services including; routers, switches and firewalls along with a solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model. 

General support experience of infrastructure support as well would be a distinct advantage for this role but the primary requirement is a solid networking professional looking to take their next step their career with a great organisation within the IT sector.
