Are you an organised and confident Sales Co-ordinator with experience in maximising service delivery, processing orders, stock, systems and technical products? 
 
We have an exciting new opportunity with a leading business in their field, requiring a "Parts Controller" who can be the glue between Sales, Procurement, Customer Services and the End User. This will be a mixed role with the sole focus of an excellent service to their customers.
 
This position is a fundamental part of the team and is requiring someone who can act as a Sales Support / Parts Controller / Service Delivery Manager to ensure end user experience is maintained and maximised at all times.

Role Responsibilities & Expectations

Execute all emergency orders ensuring best outcome to the customer
Promote strong communication and visibility between Procurement, Sales and Customer / End User
Support in seeking technical solutions for urgent customer requirements
Review stock levels and recommend change for best commercial outcome
Help identify alternative supply routes for best commercial outcome and enhanced customer proposition
Control and reduce freight / delivery costs where possible
Recommend process improvements

Be a confident and positive influence between departments at all times  
Experience / Skills / Knowledge:

Experience of working within a fast paced office
Strong technical understanding within a similar engineering / machinery type business
Excellent Organisational skills and Multi-taking ability
Positive manner with can do approach
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to think outside the box and supply varied solutions
Ambitious, results orientated team player

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers for bespoke software.

You must have experience supporting bespoke software, SQL/Java skills and a passion for customer service. You will love to problem solve, manage client expectations and go the extra mile.

You will be the first point of call to customers with an issue. You will triage, fix if possible, if not you will escalate to the development team and manage the process through to completing and closing the ticket. This is a customer-facing role, which requires daily interaction with customers typically over phone, by email and face to face

Duties will include;

  • Provide remote software application support for customer sites across the UK
  • Able to handle software incidents, conduct detailed problem analysis to find root cause of repeat incidents
  • Contribute to in-depth functional testing for project implementation and enhancements
  • Participate in commissioning and training at customer sites as required
  • Manage monthly incident meetings with client

The following skills would be an advantage but are not essential

  • Strong customer relationship management experience
  • Good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL)
  • Understanding of ITIL framework, Java EE programming language
  • Comfortable with Linux operating system, knowledge of Unix scripting will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent incident management skills which involve performing in-depth analysis of issue resolution
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites if required
