Must have:

Castle Technology Division are looking for a junior IT candidate to join the service support team. The perfect candidate will Learn to provide technical and administrative support services and facilitate timely customer responses. Be responsible for internal housekeeping and the recording of all reported items. Although, primarily an, 'in-house', role, there will be a need for customer facing verbal and written communications. This is an entry level role looking for someone that has recently gained an IT qualification or is passionate about IT and spends there own time building PCs or online gaming.

Typical Activities/Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for external customers responding professionally in both the spoken and written word to achieve the right solution for all parties
  • Organise the remote administration e.g. housekeeping/diagnostics of client computer systems
  • Be responsible for and take ownership of the administration of all support calls and emails, to ensure they are added to the Maintenance Database (MDB).
  • Liaise with and work alongside all internal customers in order to identify and resolve problems whilst understanding and maintaining external customer priority
  • Be involved in the testing of any system modifications (both software and hardware) prior to delivery
  • Update and maintain the customer support database
  • Log all returned customer equipment into company Management Information System (MIS) and MDB.
  • Carry out initial inspections on returned customer equipment and on equipment prior to dispatch
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Quality and H&S procedures
  • Support engineers with site visit preparation, and following a visit that any outstanding items are entered on the maintenance database

    Skills and Personal Qualities

    • As part of a flexible and reactive service team you are expected to be self-motivated, fit in within the team and accept sometimes challenging deadlines set by line management.
    • The ideal candidate must have a regimented and methodical approach to the day to day management of their tasks and activities
    • You will possess a customer focused attitude and empathy, understanding priorities and time critical tasks.
    • You must be personable, extremely professional and in possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Within this role you will be expected to have attained a good level of academic qualifications.
    • A working knowledge of Microsoft office.
    • Higher education in Math's, English and Science would be advantageous in this role.
    • Knowledge or an interest in IT/Network Architectures would be advantageous in this role.
    • Knowledge or an interest in Software Programming would be advantageous in this role.
    • Knowledge or an interest in Network Security would be advantageous in this role.

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst, I am looking for proactive, knowledgeable and confident Calculation Change Analyst to my clients Transformation & Change team. As such, you will have excellent understanding and knowledge of L&P products, as well as outstanding PC and problem-solving skills. Mainly responsible to support the requirement analysis, design, build and testing of the calculations.

1. You will be working as permanent member of the calculation workstream within the transformation and change team.
2. You would be required to understand the actuarial and product manuals and develop the required calculation specifications in MS Word / Excel format.
3. You would be required to develop calculations specifications (ER's) specified in MS word / MS Excel format for the consumption of TCS BaNCS team, get them reviewed, signed off and to support design and build teams with query resolutions
4. You will be responsible to specify the test conditions to test the calculations and responsible to execute the test conditions against the test tools (e.g. based on excel or Python) and TCS BaNCS
5. You will be responsible to analyse calculations mismatches identified during testing and liaise with actuarial, IT developers, product experts to resolve the mismatches
6. You will be responsible to consolidate the static data from various calculation specifications and convert the same to a predefined format as specified by TCS BaNCS Platform
7. To be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders, customers, project teams and third parties
8. Pro-actively identifies and drives forward changes to standards, processes, controls, and tools to deliver efficiency and effective improvements
9. Mentor and coaches' others within the calculations team, identifying and building on opportunities for continuous learning. Actively promotes knowledge sharing utilising knowledge repository sources to effectively increase capability
10. You're a team player who can help everyone pull together to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications
* Degree in Maths or Similar numerate subject
