Business Analyst/BA/Leeds/Permanent

Your new company
Lead Business Analyst required for a large and complex public-sector organisation based in Leeds. This organisation is going through a large amount of change and transformation in their IT department.

Your new role
As the Lead Business Analyst, you will join a large IT department to work on some large and complex system programmes. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with project managers, business representatives, end-users and technical teams within IT and the wider organisation to deliver systems that support effective and efficient business processes and align with organisation Strategy. You will mentor more junior team members and be an ambassador for best practice within the BA team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • You will have considerable experience of working as a Business Analyst in a large complex environment
  • Experience of the full end to end project lifecycle will be required and experience of modelling techniques such as UML, BPMN or similar
  • Strong experience of requirements gathering, and process analysis will be required
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload and help promote best practice
  • You will have experience of coaching and developing Business Analysts and acting as an advocate for the team.
  • Any experience of ERP or large complex system implementation projects would be advantageous but not essential
