We are looking to appoint a Web Design Software Technician. This post will provide demonstrations and technical support enabling students to produce interactive digital content and will complement our existing Technical Services team. You will have experience of designing and prototyping websites, mobile apps, moving images, and interactive content.

Specialist design software and associated processes form the essential criteria of the role. You will be able to demonstrate experience and aptitude in design of interactive and multimedia content using tools such as Adobe XD, After Effects and Photoshop.

You will also have excellent communication skills, be a good team worker and be able to demonstrate an adeptness for dealing tactfully with students and staff. You must be able to demonstrate that you have an aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their vision and will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops.

As a Customer Relations Executive you will provide exemplary complaint resolution and customer service ensuring a fair and consistent approach is delivered for customers. Job Title: Product LifeCycle Manager

GTIS is a Barclays Division that delivers critical infrastructure services and enhances operational continuity for our business units. The Solution Delivery team are responsible for the technology strategy, design and engineering for the products that underpin Collaboration Services. They design products and services that support our colleagues to openly innovate, collaborate effectively and deliver in an agile way.


The Product LifeCycle Manager will sit within our Solution Assurance team of GTIS, responsible for technology strategy, portfolio management and technical delivery for the products that underpin Collaboration Services.


What will you be doing?


• Be the process owner for the end-to-end engineering product lifecycle
• Ensure efficient and effective management of engineering delivery plans that meet business requirements
• Act in a governance role ensuring engineering processes are adhered to as part of the product lifecycle
• Engagement lead for external teams into product engineering
• Ensure reporting to stakeholders is timely and accurate
• Ownership and/or influence on policies and strategy.


What we’re looking for:


• Solid understanding of complex organisational infrastructure and architecture environments
• Strong documentation and governance skills, work with teams to ensure the right deliverables are created
• Performing RAID’s, where you manage risks and dependencies.


Skills that will help you in the role:


• Exposure to JIRA, Agile Central or Confluence to manage projects
• Cloud based exposure, especially with O365
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, for either internal colleagues or 3rd party vendors
• Any exposure to device and workspace / Win10 or 7 / data encryption or Azure IP.

Where will you be working?


You will be working at our technology hub in the North West, located at Radbroke Hall in Knutsford. It’s convenient for most people who live within a 35-mile radius, spanning from Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and Stoke. It’s a lively atmosphere with large open plan offices, with everything you need on site including various catering options, Starbucks, Gym, onsite parking etc.
