We have an excellent opportunity for a creative Service co-ordinator to join our team supporting staff and students to make the best use of our suite of digital education services.

You will work closely with educators and colleagues from across the University, to ensure consistent and high quality services are delivered to our community of learners. This will include support for postgraduate, undergraduate, online and on campus programmes.

This is a 2 year Fixed term post, based in our offices at Argyle House in central Edinburgh. It has an annual salary of £28,331 to £32,816.

The UWE Exams Team is seeking an enthusiastic Exams Team Leader to joins its team on a full time basis as maternity cover. Smooth examination organisation is essential to a student’s experience and we pride ourselves in the high quality service we deliver. Within the role you will be responsible for delivering this service through management of a team of 5 Exams Officers, providing specialist advice and collaborating with both Faculty and Professional Service staff. 

About you:

We are looking for candidates with excellent organisational and time management skills. The successful applicant should be comfortable working to deadlines and experience of large scale event management would be an advantage.

The post holder will have excellent customer service skills, be solution oriented, and able to address complex challenges relating to exam organisation. 

The role requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent IT skills including working with database systems. Experience of scheduling or timetabling would be an advantage.
