Butler Rose is currently working with a reputable business in the search for an IT Service Desk Analyst, based in Oxfordshire on a permanent basis.

As the IT Service Desk Analyst you will be working with the internal service desk team supporting with 2nd and 3rd line support across the whole organisation.

Key duties:

  • Successful 2nd/3rd Line support analyst will be the primary point for site based issues escalated by the global service desk
  • Develop and maintain excellent and professional relationships with users
  • Issues escalated will need to be fixed within SLA
  • You will drive continued service improvement throughout the department
  • You will act as an escalation point for the IT Service Desk and ensure that SOP documentation is created and updated where appropriate
  • Provide equivalent support to other offices in region
  • You will need to adhere to Service Desk code of conduct, processes and procedures in all aspects

The successful candidate will be personable, with the ability to adapt communication styles. They will need to acts swiftly and decisively to ensure you handles incidents and problem with efficacy and accuracy. They will hold experience of working within a IT Service Desk position with 2nd or 3rd line support with desirable skills in ITIL V3 qualified to foundation level or MCITP - Microsoft Certified IT Professional but not essential. The successful candidate will need to be proficient in O365 (including ATP, EMS, eDiscovery) MS Server 2016 and MS windows 10.
