Full Stack Developer

This newly formed development team is looking to take on an additional 2 developers to reinvent this UK recognised brand’s web and mobile applications. This business is a household name in the automotive industry, benefiting from corporate scale benefits but keeping with the fast paced and flexible feel of a tech start up.

This is what you’ll be doing

You will be working on a number of Greenfield projects including completely rebuilding this companies internal CRM and redeveloping their mobile platform using React Native over the next couple of years.

Ideally you will be a strong junior/mid-level developer that has been using JavaScript/TypeScript for a couple of years. This is a very fast paced opportunity, keeping within the start-up mentality looking to launch 4 new apps in the next 6 months alone. Working completely agile and running regular sprints.

As a junior/mid-level it would be preferred to have ReactJS, NodeJS in a commercial environment however they are more than happy to consider Angular, VueJS as long as the candidate is willing to learn. If you’re more of a front end developer you must show the attitude to want to work with backend technologies. Good quality code is an absolute must, all developers are responsible for running their own automated testing.

There’s also some must haves

  • JavaScript, TypeScript
  • ReactJS, VueJS or Angular
  • NodeJS / Go
  • Understanding of GraphQL
  • Exposure to AWS
  • Testing tools such as Selenium
  • Understanding of quality code and industry standards

About You

  • You should have a strong customer focus and be confident dealing with a wide range of end users as well as liaising with technical suppliers. You are experienced in following agreed procedures to provide advice to users to help them make more effective use of desktop systems, products and services.
  • Good communication skills are needed to provide updates to users and issue communications on incidents and service disruptions.
