Working in our network operations centre in London, you would be responsible for ensuring the effective management and stable operation of the Janet regional networks, including the access links in to the Janet core network. You will manage and operate all aspects of Jisc's Managed Router Service (MRS), providing an excellent service and support to Jisc members and customers that require assistance with their Janet network router - and, where necessary, give advice on network implementation and the design of their local area networks.

You will be highly self-motivated with good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-facing focus. You are able to work under your own initiative without immediate supervision as well as working as part of an operational team at any of the Janet NOC Office Locations at Jisc member premises or at Janet or Service Provider points of presence.
