Role Overview:

Reporting into the B.I. Lead developer, creating or running reports from the B.I. Reporting Tool (Tableau) in order to prepare timely and accurate Management Information/Operational Reports for the business.

Ability to critically evaluate data, demonstrate problem solving skills and be able to interpret findings, present conclusions and communicate recommendations for better decision making.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Gathering reporting requirements and creating reports/dashboards using Bl reporting tool whilst ensuring information is reconciled and accurate.
- Ensuring data synchronisation is being performed successfully along with data integrity.
- Quality and working with third parties to resolve any issues.
- Understanding of data structures from core broking system (Open TWINS).
- Developing and producing management information reports for areas of the client.
- Producing documentation for users and on-going internal support.
- Facilitating User Acceptance Testing and logging issues where necessary.
- Assistance with user support and providing training to non-technical users.
- Co-ordinating activities with divisional team members to ensure operational and management information is readily available.
- Accurate and timely preparation of daily and monthly reports and service the need for ad hoc reports when required.
- Ability to create insightful, visual and tabular based dashboards
- Interpret and analyse data to identify key metrics.
- To liaise with internal and external auditors to supply requested reports and explain their findings.
- Prompt and accurate supply of reports for internal and external auditors.
- Provide sector and competitor benchmarking.
- Develop and support reporting processes.
- Monitor and audit data quality.
- Assist in the development and production of internal Ml and compliance with regulatory financial information.
- Set up and maintain automated data processes.

Experience required:

- Minimum of 1 year data analyst experience (ideally within insurance broking)
- Preferred knowledge of Bl Reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik or PowerBI.
- Preferred SQL scripting experience writing queries, data extraction and data warehouse
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Engage with users and senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with third party suppliers.
- An appreciation of current IT technologies and able to discuss and explain to Stakeholders.
