An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Manager to join the Marketing team, based in their West London office.

About the role:

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will have full ownership of the email marketing programs (both B2C and B2B audiences), be responsible for creating marketing content and writing creative copy, for both online and offline channels. 

Your role is to deliver effective messaging that helps to drive existing customer retention, as well as new customer acquisition.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work with the whole marketing team to agree campaigns and build the marketing and promotions calendar, and cross-functionally with Trade, Customer Service and Design teams, translators and external agencies. 

What you'll do:

Email/CRM marketing

  • Develop and execute the email/CRM strategies into various email campaigns (promotional, transactional, lifecycle) to drive growth across B2C and B2B customers
  • Plan and schedule email campaigns to support overall marketing activity
  • Write creative email copy, adapted to each audience (B2C and B2B) in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Manage the email campaign creation process (from designer and translators briefing, segmentation, A/B tests to testing, approval and launch)
  • Own email KPIs, including deliverability, open rate, click rate, conversion rate, opt-out rate, revenue, as well as specific business goals around individual campaigns
  • Analyse and interpret campaign results, provide clear reports with actionable insights and optimisations
  • Identify opportunities to grow our mailing lists and drive their implementation
  • Champion GDPR and good data management within the business
  • Assist Customer Services team to troubleshoot email related issues

Website and brand content 

  • Develop onsite content and keep it fresh and relevant across our websites, consistently keeping to our brand voice and personality
  • Brief a team of translators for localised content
  • Write and/or proofread brand copy for marketing channels (such as homepage, category page, product description, SEO and PPC copy, merchandising materials, product packaging, advertising, etc.)

PR, Comms and Social

  • In collaboration with our PR agency, monitor media coverage and report to the Team
  • Provide product pictures and timelines for products releases to PR agency
  • Send PR packages to journalists
  • Write press releases, feature articles for trade publications as and when needed
  • Maintain company profiles on trade fair websites
  • Attending to key industry events, trade and consumer shows when necessary
  • Manage the company’s trade Twitter account and Linkedin page
  • Engage with other brands to create partnerships and coordinate campaigns

Advertising and marketing materials 

  • Assist the Head of Marketing to buy relevant advertising placements
  • Craft compelling copy for various marketing materials
  • Manage the artwork production process (from designer briefing, feedback and changes implementation, approval to price negotiation with printers and delivery)

You have/are:

Essential

  • Excellent English copywriting skills, able to write grabbing-attention headlines and creative copy
  • Excellent proofreader
  • Strong experience in writing brief for creative, media partners
  • In-depth experience in email marketing (including email copywriting, segmentation, multivariate testing, and post-campaign analysis) and ESPs/CRM systems (we use Mailchimp)
  • Hands-on experience in Content Management System
  • Working knowledge of principles of digital copywriting, SEO, keyword research 
  • Good eye for graphic design and layout (Adobe Photoshop skills are desirable, but not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite (docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in analytics tools (we use Google Analytics)
  • Ability to analyse data and optimise the performance of campaigns

Desirable

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and design tools, such as Photoshop
  • Experience in developing and executing CRM programs from scratch
  • Experience in managing loyalty programs would be an advantage, but not a must-have

Your profile:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing or Communication
  • Creative spirit with high commercial awareness - you are able to come up with creative campaigns ideas, execute them, and track their commercial success 
  • Super organised project manager, able to manage a varied workload, several third-parties, and meet deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

You will be responsible for delivering a significant part of the experience for car rental bookers on the Booking.com Android & iOS apps. You’ll work with key stakeholders from our marketing and commercial functions to ensure solutions are fit for purpose across the whole business, as well as working with other product teams in both Manchester and Amsterdam to deliver a product that integrates seamlessly into the wider business.

You will be working closely with the Senior Product Manager to shape the native apps strategy for car rental within the booking.com app, with focus on delivering value to the customer through incentives and loyalty mechanisms and by delivering a seamless experience into the cars vertical.

Day to day role:

In the early stages of product discovery, you’ll clarify user needs with researchers and design colleagues. You’ll analyse customer feedback and distil those insights into concrete opportunities to solve their problems.

You will also define the ways your product gets held to account, and ensure those metrics get tracked. You’ll articulate your vision to a cross-functional team, and break up its delivery into meaningful, achievable goals. You’ll be on point for translating user needs and business requirements into compelling and clear user stories designers can use to draw user flows and interactions, and developers can use to build the product or service.

You’ll develop and own your roadmap with your team and collaboration with stakeholders and make sure wherever possible, tech and design patterns are reused. You’ll lead, organise, and inspire the team with sharp analysis and well-articulated decisions. You’ll find ever more inventive ways to make the product delivery process more efficient, productive, and fun. And you’ll champion your product with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Develop of deep understanding of our customer needs with regards to promotions and incentives, and use these to deliver a product that engages customers

Work with senior stakeholders from across the business to define the product strategy and roadmap, and delver against this

Work collaboratively with a delivery team of developers, designers and testers to design and deliver products to delight our customers

Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of your product

Work with agile coaches and your team to drive continuous efficiency improvements

Communicate with multiple key stakeholders to keep them up to date and bought into your product development

Work with marketing and front end product teams to ensure that promotions are surfaced and communicated effectively

Work with teams in Amsterdam to make sure that our product strategy is aligned with the wider booking.com strategy where appropriate, to share best practice and tooling and to ensure we’re capitalising on opportunities created by the wider business.

Key Attributes

About the role: We are looking for a strategic, customer-focused and results-driven individual who will help develop the market for houzen in Southeast Asia (Malaysia & Singapore), India, Korea and China. This will include managing our relations with property, relocation and education agencies based in Asia, researching the market for potential new partners, preparing promotional materials and suggesting ideas for promo campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for market research in Asia

We are a London tech and consultancy start up. Now we would like to welcome talented individuals to join us for a voluntary placement to be part of this exciting project.

Main aim of this role will be helping us maintain great relationship with our prospects and clients.

Responsibilities:

- Partnership development 

-Email marketing

– Writing blogs, infographics, press releases, power point presentations, manuals, emails

– Marketing: email & telephone

– Managing social media accounts, blogs and forums

– Events organising and attending multiple number of events

– Data build and lead nurturing

Requirements:

– Strong copywriting skills in British English is a must

– Interest in social media, marketing automation, content marketing – Passionate working with other small businesses

– Interest in technology & marketing, startups

– Hard worker and team player
