The Opportunity

The organisation is currently developing a number of products for the retail space, with the aim to optimise consumer consumption via extensive data analysis.

As a result, they are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage and control the product development and launch from brief to creation through to initial testing phases. The role will involve;

  • Managing the product lifecycle from design to go-live
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and manage the brand ethos of the product
  • Work with onsite and offshore teams for development
  • Manage timelines, budget and resources

Key Responsibilities

  • Define scope of the project to be undertaken
  • Documenting requirements

  • Identify out of scope and in-scope items
  • Manage estimation, impact and stakeholder approval of change requests
  • Work with various teams, primarily Design, Marketing and Technology. Engage with SME’s within each team
  • Creation of JIRA tickets, assignment of tasks and ensure JIRA boards are up to date and accurate
  • Conduct daily project stand-ups
  • Support the delivery team
  • Delivery in line with a client's expectations in terms of timeline, functionality and quality
  • Conducting UAT - Work with QA to ensure test cases are documented and approved
  • Knowledge of key technologies like Microsoft, Salesforce, CRM solutions, Inventory management, IOT etc.

You are an experienced Technical Product Manager who will join our dynamic Product Management team. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will play a highly strategic and vital role working within the core platform product - Workspace.
You will have a good technical understanding and an ability to engage with a technical audience, as well as product knowledge and experience.

Day-to-day, you will:
• Work with the product team to assist in defining the infrastructure and platform strategy that will enable other departments and products to use the key functions of the platform
• Be the primary liaison person, working with the product management and architecture teams, to understand the technologies required to meet the business requirements and provide a holistic view of the challenges, potential solutions and be able to make well-informed recommendations
• Be responsible for the roadmap of Workspace Platforms SDK's, API's and toolkits used by the product development teams and selected third party partners
• Have a sound appreciation and understanding of SaaS software engineering principles
• Assess and address technical risks
• Answer incoming questions about the technical products and their capabilities
• Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to a range of audiences, including key stakeholders and other divisional product and technology teams

Our client is a global Law Firm who is looking to recruit a Network Engineer for initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role which pays up to £55,000 per annum (pro-rata).

Key requirements for this Network Engineer role is that you MUST have extensive skills and experience in complex network systems or strong knowledge and experience dealing with network security issues. The Network Engineer role covers the day-to-day, 'business as usual' tasks to support all backend IT systems. This role will provide hands-on 3rd line operational support.

You should have the following skills and experience as a Network Engineer:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills of complex network, system, and/or security problems.
  • Be able to demonstrate in-depth network experience especially in the design and implementation of multi-site LANS and WANs
  • Comprehensive experience of Cisco switching, Cisco Nexus 3k & 9k.
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols including BGP\EIGRP\OSPF
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies with experience of global Aruba deployments
  • CCNP or CCIE or equivalent knowledge.
  • In-depth experience with a leading Firewall technology Palo alto\Fortinet\Mcafee
