Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

I'm currently working with leading global security aerospace and Defence Technology Company. They are currently looking for Cloud Engineers to join their growing infrastructure team to help us develop, deploy, maintain and decommission a number of large scale clustered systems. They are in a phase of rapid growth and are continually looking to augment our teams with talented individuals.

Do you want to use your practical experience and expertise to create, manage and maintain scalable and resilient processing infrastructure environments in public and private clouds from industry-leading providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google)?

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will have a number of key responsibilities, these are primarily around creating, managing and maintaining scalable and resilient processing infrastructure environments in public and private clouds.

Keycriteriarequired:

  • Trained and certified in one or both of AWS and Azure infrastructure

  • Experienced in Dev(Sec)Ops deployment techniques (CI/CD pipelines)

  • Experienced in building and deploying integrated systems using 'infrastructure as code' techniques (e.g. Terraform)

  • Experienced in using container technologies (e.g. Docker) to package and deploy system components

Desirable

  • Familiar with Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

Our client is a well regarded pharma company with their HQ in Hatfield. They are currently recruiting for a systems analyst to support them in the roll out of a new system implementation.

Requirements:

- Provide first line support on SAP, BI and other directly linked systems.

- Play an important part in the roll out and development of a new reporting and consolidation system that will drive the business forward through better decision-making tools.

- Provide Training support to SAP and BI user community and any other directly linked system(s).

- Supporting user testing for configuration changes and application amendments.
