The Systems Analyst is responsible for taking the lead at a technical level in overseeing Banking Applications, providing consultancy level input into the design of solutions to meet growing customer and regulatory demand. The responsibilities of the successful Systems Analyst will include development of existing platforms as well as playing a central role in the migration to new technologies as a part of larger upgrade projects.

This role will provide hands-on 3rd line operational support for network infrastructure as well as providing implementation support for any new systems or technologies which the business may adopt.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the Architecture and Information Security teams to deliver projects to agreed design, standards and controls of the network infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Maintain the efficient running of the BAU network globally.

  • Policies to ensure smooth running and optimal performance of network infrastructure.

  • Support and ownership of WAN and LAN technologies and to collaborate and assist in all top level support.

  • Ensuring the network meets required security standards and controls.

  • Work with 3rd party vendors to identify root cause analysis on any support issues.

  • Collaborating with different teams globally.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills of complex network, system, and/or security problems.

  • Experience in the design and implementation of multi-site LANS and WANs

  • Cisco switching, Cisco Nexus 3k & 9k.

  • Routing protocols including BGP\EIGRP\OSPF

  • In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies with experience of global Aruba deployments

  • In-depth experience with a leading Firewall technology Palo alto\Fortinet\Mcafee

  • Strong understanding of network security

  • Experience of MPLS network and VPN networks

  • Ability to liaise with 3rd parties for troubleshooting and fault resolution.
