- Significant experience in delivering front line services

- About the role
As our new Deputy Director, you'll lead the operational service provision of Janet on which our members and customers rely, ensuring that the Janet network and associated infrastructure is specified, designed, delivered and managed according to members' needs.
This is a challenging role engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders to identify key operational issues and to improve service delivery standards. Leading and developing the staff in the network operations group, and being responsible for the selection, coaching and performance management of staff to ensure that they are motivated and capable of delivering to a high performance.

Location
This role can be based in London or Harwell.
Connecting with each other is a doddle, thanks to our technology, but getting face to face is something we value and find time for when we can, so you may need to travel on occasion. Our main offices are in Bristol, Harwell, London and Manchester.
