Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that deliverables meet documented requirements, are high quality, and are completed on schedule or early.
-Utilize internal tools to design surveys and reporting systems (web, database, and other).
- Thoroughly understand the business needs the product is trying to meet and apply this understanding to guide testing.
- Execute quality control tests to validate deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure product and process quality. Qualifications Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor`s degree with emphasis in Business, Systems Development, or related area or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Project management/coordination expertise.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extreme attention to detail and adherence to quality control processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
-Track record of successful process improvements.
- May have technical knowledge at the code reading/debugging level, but not required

Job Description

Do you have a keen interest in analytics and a knowledge of HR? We have a rare opportunity to join our People Function team as a People Insight Specialist. This is an exciting time to join the department as we are currently going through a period of change to make sure we are fit for future growth and sustainability. As a People Insight Specialist, you will be responsible for provision of insight capability across our People Function to enable decisions to help drive the delivery and shaping of our strategy.

You will be responsible for building confidence and capability in terms of a ‘data mindset’ across the people function by working collaboratively with all the People Teams to understand reporting requirements, challenge and drive the reporting and insights. You’ll provide analytical support to inform decision making and enable effective development of business cases ensuring all insight is produced in accordance with the Society’s data governance standards. Your advanced Excel and data analysis skills combined with the ability to interpret and present data in a manner which is clear and easy to understand by stakeholders both technical and non-technical will help you succeed within this role.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have a high level of analytical skill with the ability to develop insight and present this in a meaningful manner. You will also have a strong attention to detail with the ability to follow quality standards to ensure a high standard of data governance is always maintained.

Working with a number of stakeholders both within the People Function and also the wider Society you will have strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to differing people and situations. You will work in vertical teams to collaboratively solve business problems so again relationship building and adapting to others are key elements to success within this role. 

We want someone who can hit the ground running within this role so significant competence with Excel and PowerPoint is a must. With additional experience in developing models on Excel and the use of Power BI would be highly advantageous along with experience of statistical techniques to query data.
