- THE ROLE;  

• As Technical Sales Executive, you will be the 1st sales person to join this newly established Smart Buildings division.
• You will be selling their software system that controls and monitors a buildings mechanical and electrical equipment, such as heating, ventilation, lighting and power systems.
• You will also be selling Facilities Management support, such as Smart emergency lighting, Smart cleaning, Smart TNA, Smart Water for legionella checks, plus space management, Safety & security- fire, CCTV, Access and Intruder and Employee Productivity and wellness as well as workplace services such as Smart vending, Smart vehicle parking & Smart lockers.
• This gives real time data, is tied into the BMS system and can be controlled from your smart phone or ipad.
• You will be gaining specifications on projects such as commercial offices, universities, colleges, hospitals, factories, manufacturing plants, retail, warehousing etc. Any building that would benefit from reduced energy costs and improved operational efficiency.
• As Technical Sales Executive, you will be covering London and the South East, with access to a large database of FM companies, M&E contractors, consultants and end users.
• You'll typically selling to estate managers, Facilities Managers, contract managers- in essence anyone looking after the building.
• You will conduct site surveys and pitch your Smart building solution and close for the order, typically agreeing a minimum 3 year service contract.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

• The successful Technical Sales Executive must have IoT or Smart Building solutions experience, ideally with a successful sales background within the Facilities Management sector. 
• My client will also consider an installer or designer in the IoT space, looking to utilise their knowledge in a front line solution sales environment.
• You will be educated to at least A level standard, ideally to Degree level in Mechanical, Electrical, Building services or a controls field.
• You will have a passion for technology, be an excellent communicator, team player and results driven, with good attention to detail.
• You will ideally have experience in design, engineering and delivery of small, medium and large IoT projects.

- THE COMPANY;

• Our client is a well established, multi-million pounds turnover Building management systems and energy management solutions provider.
• They have twinned up with a software partner, to generate this cutting edge Smart buildings monitoring solution.

- THE REMUNERATION;

• £40,000- £45,000 Basic salary
• Open ended bonus scheme, with realistic £30k+ earning potential on-top in Year 1.
• Mercedes or BMW type company car, or car allowance of £4,800 per annum.
• 25 days holiday, plus 8 Bank holidays.
• 3% pension contribution.
• Mobile phone, laptop and all out of pocket expenses paid.
