Technical Integration Consultant – .NET – B40

Developer/ASP.Net/Intergration/SSRS/MVC/SQL/Team Lead/Client Facing

Technical integration Consultant required for a leading Microsoft Gold Partner based on Birmingham Business Park. The Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for leading the efficient and accurate design of end to end software solutions, using the full Microsoft stack, specialising in C#.NET web applications. These solutions will meet the business, service level and software architecture needs of the client in a cost effective manner. This role is client facing and you will act as a sounding board and mentor to other staff.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • To provide full project lifecycle (Pre-Sales/Design & Analysis/Development/Testing/Implementation) technical support and assistance to colleagues and clients in the delivery of IT solutions & documentation
  • To be an expert user in supported applications and to maintain this level of understanding and knowledge
  • Responsible for creation, implementation and adherence to policies and best practice relating to;
  • Software design and architecture
  • Software configuration & release management
  • Software testing/Quality control
  • Technical documentation
  • Technical mentor for colleagues
  • Provide Project Management, Business Analyst & Team lead experience as required
  • Have a good understanding of current technologies and keep abreast of future enhancements e.g. Cloud hosted web applications in Azure/Amazon etc.

Key Technical Skills of the role

  • Website development experience using ASP.NET/MVC/.Net Core for least 5 years
  • Web Services at least 3 years
  • Client Scripting using Javascript and Type Script at least 2 yrs
  • HTML at least 2 years
  • C# at least 5 years
  • Entity framework at least 2 years
  • Strong DevOps experience with hands on build and release pipeline at least 2 years
  • SQL & SQL Server at least 5 years
  • Experience with SSRS and Power BI
  • Experience using Azure Function, Azure Service Bus and Logic Apps
