This chartered body of individuals are looking to recruit a bright and proactive candidate who can provide technical support to users and take part in the development, implementation and roll out of ITIL Change Management structure.

Our client (based 5 minutes from York train station), is looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer, with a focus on Windows 10 O/S builds in SCCM (injecting drivers, settings etc). The ideal candidate will be supporting and escalating problems where needed from the helpdesk and identifying solutions within the business infrastructure. The successful candidate will be someone that is proactive and a self-starter who is able to manage their own time and work load. You will be supporting the IT infrastructure across multiple sites.

Experience/skills for the role will include:

  • Experience of Windows 10 build and deployment projects previously is essential
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SCCM
  • Experience of working with Active Directory and Group Policy related to Windows 10 client and user migrations.
  • Experience with deployment and support of Windows 7, 8 and 10
  • SCCM Infrastructure Operational Support - investigating and resolving issues that affect the platform’s service.
  • Manage Desktop Security Updates - provide support to the rollout of security updates to the end user devices managed by SCCM.
  • Application Delivery - support the deployment of applications to end user devices managed by SCCM.
