Description

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • supporting the core Magento functionality, as well as all transactional web-based functions
  • Demonstrating a strong knowledge of object oriented PHP and MySQL development for the Magento Enterprise framework
  • Providing ongoing TD PHP development, adhering to Zend coding standards
  • Providing full and clear documentation of all custom PHP development
  • Providing debugging, support and resolution of platform issues
  • Adhering to formally published test and implementation plans
  • Researching and developing new and emerging Magento tools and technologies

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Either be educated to degree level (2:1) in IT or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of OO Software Development (PHP)
  • Proven Magento Enterprise or Community experience including high traffic Magento installations and creation of custom modules
  • Experience with version control
  • Website usability testing experience
  • Experience with systems such as JIRA/Zenhub for bug tracking

You will be motivated, hard working with excellent written and verbal communication skills! You must take accountability for your work, adhere to best practice and be flexible to work under pressure.
