LOCATION - This role will be based in Nantes in France if possible or based in Milton Keynes, If this role is to be based in Milton Keynes the chosen candidate needs to be prepared to travel to Nantes in France for training and team meetings.

Pay Rate - up to £500.00 per day / Limited Inside IR35

Responsibilities :
* Picking up service now tickets
* Requesting firewall and proxy changes
* Creating VPN orders and submitting them to the 3rd party
* Liaising with 3rd parties to collect technical information
* Picking up general support tickets and escalating where required.
* Acting as an initial point of contact to field and screen technical queries that come in to the team.
* Providing support and troubleshooting assistance to various regional contacts

Skills
The candidate must have experience working with external suppliers who provide a fully managed network service.
This is a hands-off role however the candidate needs to understand the technical details that are being delivered by other suppliers.
The candidate is required to have a good understanding of networking including Lan/Wifi, firewall rules, Routing, NAT, MPLS/BGP/VRF, VPNs, web and reverse proxies and SD WAN).

A CCNP Routing & Switching and/or CCNP Security experience is strongly recommended.

Any experience with F5, Fortigate, Infoblox or Riverbed Cascade will be a big bonus.
Again, all of this is hands off as it is provided by multiple 3rd parties so experience of managing/working with multiple vendors on a project is essential.

Any ITIL or Prince 2 certification is an additional bonus.

Good Visio and MS office skills and must have excellent verbal and written English.

Able to stay calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.

Extra hours may be required from time to time to ensure deadlines are met.

Must be able to work on his own without supervision and must be able to fit in and work as part of the network team.

Our client, one of the largest county councils in the UK are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to move largescale corporate applications to a leading, recognised SaaS solution ERP including HR, Payroll, Finance & Procurement.

The HR Systems Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

• The delivery of the core HR and Payroll workstreams configuring functionality including employee records, hierarchies, time and absence management, workforce planning, rewards and payroll.

• Working with business design/continuous improvement teams and change management to ensure a successful delivery of interconnected corporate systems with a focus on HR & Payroll.

• Acting as an SME in the payroll and core HR space to be the point of contact between the programme team, technology services, finance and procurement as well as 3rd party suppliers.

• Working with finance teams to design end to end processes and configure the required technology where functionality overlaps.

• Leading on turning advice into business cases for approval at senior levels.

• Operational planning and performance review to maintain exceptional service delivery and ensuring the political objectives and priorities are met.

The HR Systems Delivery Manager must possess:

• Previous Delivery Management experience of HR systems i.e. HRIS

• A good understanding of IT architecture as well as HR processes and how they interact with other services (e.g. finance / payroll/ procurement)

• Experience and knowledge of data migration processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Accredited with Business Analyst or similar certification by a recognised professional body

• Local authority/ recent public sector experience is essential

Please note, the HR Systems Delivery Manager will be required to work via an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.

-Vmware and virtualisation skills
-Experience using automation tools such as ansible, puppet or vagrant
-Able to deploy and manage monitoring and logging tools such elasticsearch, Prometheus, alertmanager or Grafana.
-Test, build and deploy code based on git repositories is essential
-Understand continuous delivery Jenkins pipeline CI/CD
-Build and maintain the cloud platform infrastructure as code using terraform
-Containers and Redhat Openshift
-Experience of working in Azure or AWS
