I am currently working on a brand new position with a London based client who are at the forefront of innovation, looking for a new Tech Lead to bring innovation and direction to work on new methods and technology that will tackle the problem that is climate change.

Well known for their cutting edge technology in the energy sector, the client in question are looking for someone who can tackle complex problems by balancing human and digital design in an Agile environment, being involved in several projects at different stages of their lifecycle.

You will be helping to provide guidance and autonomy to various teams and ensuring products remain on track, supporting product teams in their delivery.

Tech Lead Role Requirements

Ideally, you will have knowledge and expertise in broad range of technologies and past experiences in :

  • Golang / Python
  • NodeJs / React
  • GraphQL
  • Cloud Services – AWS
  • CI/CD
  • Extensive experience in Agile environments
  • Previously led teams of Developers/Engineers
  • Excellent communication skills

Please note, this role is for a 6 Month Contract and is Inside IR35.

The maximum rate for this contract is £640 per day, with the possibility to go permanent after completion of the contract.

The client is looking to line up initial phone screening calls for the remainder of the week, followed by an onsite visit.

Our trusted client, that has operates within UK and works alongside leading brands such as the BBC, Sky, Vodafone and Scottish Power (to name a few) is currently hiring a senior Infrastructure Engineer who has strong skills in Office 365 (AIP or DLP), Azure AD and Intune SCCM.

Opportunity:
The chosen Infrastructure Engineer will lead an enterprise transformation project utilising Office 365 security protocols (AIP/DLP), the latest cloud solutions (AZURE/AWS) whilst allocating a range of mobile devices with Intune SCCM. Additionally, our client is automation a number of their back an applications which is allowing the infrastructure engineers to start exploring DeVops technologies such as Ansible and Docket.

Technical Exposure:
• Experience of AD/Group policy with Azure
• Server based operating systems (2003, 2008, 2012,2016)
• MS teams configure and deployment experience
• O365 protection(AIP, DLP for example) experience
• Azure AD experience
• SharePoint online experience
• Intune manage and deployment experience

Desirable
• Any MAC/Windows Intune deployment experience.
• MS exchange online experience
• Any experience of migrating from legacy telephony to MS teams is a bonus
• SC cleared great but not essential

Rate - £525 per (Inside IR 35) - 6 month rolling contract.

I am recruiting for an arm's length body of a ministerial government department who are going through an exciting period of transformation and growth.

Your new role
I am recruiting for an experienced Solutions Architect who will be a key member of the core team supporting the day-to-day architectural and technical analysis requirements for the programme delivery. They are responsible for producing the required artefacts for current state assessment, gap analysis and development of the target operating model.

They will work closely with the reporting manager and the necessary stakeholders to scope the work, develop and manage the required technical artefacts, and ensure appropriate sign-offs. They will ensure that the proposed solutions meet the overall architectural principles and does not create technical debt. It is worth noting that some of the stakeholder community in this organisation might be resistant to a full architecture framework so it will your job to manage them appropriately in a diplomatic and strategic manor.

What you'll need to succeed

Key accountabilities:

  • Owning the technical requirements gathering process end-to-end with key business stakeholders
  • Develop a current state assessment and identify gaps with a view to developing future state architecture in line with business requirements/ Target Operating model
  • Creating Architecture blueprint documentation Definition of solution architecture design for in scope hardware, modules and functionality including APIs across all transition stages in line with proposed TOM
  • Ensure Solution Design meets MaPS standards and confirms to architectural roadmap and does not create technical debt Ensure that all artefacts produced are ratified by the required governance forums


What are we looking for?

You will have consistent experience as a Solution Designer/Architect or a similar role along with experience in large scale transformation projects. A background working for one of the Big Four or any large consultancy will be highly advantageous as there is no architecture capabilities in place at the moment and so you will have to build it from the ground up. A complete understanding of the software delivery life cycle is a necessity along with a background in industry-standard agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Experienced in use of industry standard framework such as TOGAF Familiarity with the Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence Previous experience of managing and communicating with clients.
