I'm looking for a Methods Engineer to join a project on Hinkley Point C for a 12 month contract.

Overview of skill set:

· Able to produce drawings using AutoCAD

· Knowledge of lifting operations

· Structural steel erection works

· Identify technical problems and make the necessary technical proposition.

· Define the materials or services to be purchased for the operations.

· Prepare lifting plan.

· Review scaffolding plan and propose improvement.

· Perform all the necessary engineering verification and calculations necessary for the methodology to be implemented (with support of Head Office calculation engineers).

· Define and write the methods and sequences for construction (RAMS) in collaboration with Construction engineer and assist in developing the Risk assessment

· Define the show stoppers and propose mitigation.

· Prepare the start-up of the activity with the Construction Engineer (check availability of specific devices or equipment).

· Prepare a feedback of the methods used and propose improvement for the next activities.

· Preparation of the site activities through identification of key task, list of materials.

· Ensure conformity of the equipment with site specifications

· Interface with client project engineers to promote and explain methods and procedure to be used

· Interface with Method department in Head office

· Site survey and assist operation team to implement procedure and method statement

Consequently, they are looking for support professionals well versed in end-user support across Windows 10, Azure, Office365 etc.

Your day to day:

  • Answering service desk calls and emails rapidly ensuring that support tickets are raised and categorized appropriately

  • Identifying and managing the timely escalation of tickets that have been allocated to you but need additional resources within the support team

  • Proactively ensuring time and ticket update entry within the support desk ticketing system

  • Ensuring customer documentation and process guides are regularly updated

  • Providing timely and effective technical assistance

  • Delivering exemplary customer service

  • Ensuring that assigned individual key-performance-indicators (KPI’s) are met

What’s required from you 

Candidates will ideally have  a minimum 6-12 months (minimum) experience in a similar support role alongside exceptional customer service and soft-skills and the following technical experience:
