Job Title Devops Engineer
Location Radbroke Hall

The Mortgage CIO is responsible for c£20M Change agenda budget and manages the strategic approach and tactical delivery from inception to live. With around 200 staff the team is responsible for all development and testing and managing the mortgage specific systems. This is a DevOps Manager role for Mortgages that will deliver a step change in Mortgage capability to automate our environments, code management, testing and deployment capabilities. 

What will you be doing?


• You will write the specifications and documentation .
• Utilize CI/CD management and automation tools.
• Work and collaborate with automation services and platform.
• Support with the Scripting and Pipeline design.

• Responsibility for Performance assessment.

What we’re looking for:

• Hands on experience in scripting languages – Python / Ruby / Groovy.

• Experience in CI /CD management tools eg. Jenkins / TeamCity.

Skills that will help you in the role:

As a Wealth Client Service Executive, you will be the primary contact for the client and their day to day banking and investment needs. You will handle a wide variety of inbound telephony calls from High Net Worth clients covering every aspect of Barclays banking products and investment servicing.

What will you be doing?

• You will be dealing with High Net Worth clients via telephone or email communication, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service in all interaction
• Ensuring client contacts are recorded accurately on all applicable systems and responding in a timely and professional manner to client requests
• Ensuring the clients are aware of every aspect of day to day banking including setting up payments and direct debits/standing orders, cash transfers and foreign exchange

Senior Application Developer

A brand new opportunity has become available for a Senior Application Developer within our Operational Risk Technology Function. This dedicated function is primarily responsible for the end-to-end technology delivery of the risk management systems such as ORAC, RSAM and Sentinel applications. We are currently planning to build a new Risk management system to be used by approx. 10,000 users across all Barclays’ business areas. As part of this function, you will play a key role in the build during 2020 and 2021 and will be a big enabler for the Operational Risk business teams.


What will you be doing?


• Comprehend the functional requirements and build the ORAC replacement in accordance with business needs, by designing a scalable and maintainable solution
• Deliver projects in a fast-paced environment and work with different analytic and technology groups to produce high quality solutions in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate defined projects, their interdependencies, and associated risks and issues to deliver to agreed milestones
• Design and build ORAC replacement, drive full project life cycle until delivery and provide Level 3 production support thereafter
• Participate in the release management, by ensuring that the application platform is fit for purpose and scalable to meet future demand
• Understand and make decisions based on the operational impact of changes and react quickly to live reporting issues in co-operation with Support and Application Development teams


What we’re looking for:


• A solid background in component and object oriented programming/design in Java/JEE, Multi-Threading, Message-oriented-middleware, XML, Web presentation technologies
• Experience with RESTful web services and JavaScript application frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS
• Experience with Java VM architecture and extensive knowledge of system optimization /performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with Dev Tools such as Eclipse / STS / RAD and DevOps Tools such as, JIRA, GIT or Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Chef and Docker
• Hands-on experience or exposure to building and hosting applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Report development experience using PL/SQL, Microsoft Power BI or Jasper reports
• Extensive hands-on experience with Dev Tools such as Eclipse / STS / RAD, JIRA, Bit Bucket, Jenkins
• Extensive Knowledge of Spring, JavaScript Frameworks and related Open source Frameworks


Skills that will help you in the role:


• Any hands-on experience with Operational Risk management solutions
• Any experience with Microsoft Office toolset, primarily Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Macros)

This role will be based in the Aurora Building, 1 of our 3 modern City Centre locations until our

Job Title: Junior Incident Handle

The Chief Security Office known as CSO engages in a range of activities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Firm’s Physical and Information assets and to assist in the delivery of secure solutions to the business.  Teams include Cyber Security Operations, Physical Security, Intelligence, Investigations, and Resilience.
The Joint operations centre (JOC) Junior Incident Handler directly supports the JOC Incident Handler undertaking tasks and supporting the coordination and communications aspects of the JOC mission. Whilst a junior role, the Junior Incident Handler is a vital member of the team sustaining communications links and maintaining records, tickets and information flow. Proactive investigation or threat hunting using OSINT, social media, and other relevant data sources.

What will you be doing?


• The candidate will be required to be a self-starter able to identify and implement necessary tasks within their area of responsibility and the flexibility necessary to work within the JOC.
• Being part of a multifunctional team providing the technical services that deliver a world class Joint Operations Centre function.
• Supporting critical security activities which will ultimately drive security improvements and have a positive impact on security culture across Barclays and any dependent Business Divisions by providing its common, services and by sharing best practice. 
• Supporting and participating in a security response capability to ensure that Barclays can call on expert capability and respond rapidly to security events, any time any place.
• Providing support in the review of events, including notification, escalation response and post incident review including handover/takeover processes at shift change.
• Supports the execution of triage controls to detect and prevent attackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardising e-commerce programs.
• Delivers recommendations and actions to improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of security incidents.
• Shift work to ensure 24x7x365 coverage.

Job Title: Junior Incident Handle
Location: 1 Churchill Place, London

The Chief Security Office known as CSO engages in a range of activities to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Firm’s Physical and Information assets and to assist in the delivery of secure solutions to the business.  Teams include Cyber Security Operations, Physical Security, Intelligence, Investigations, and Resilience.
The Joint operations centre (JOC) Junior Incident Handler directly supports the JOC Incident Handler undertaking tasks and supporting the coordination and communications aspects of the JOC mission. Whilst a junior role, the Junior Incident Handler is a vital member of the team sustaining communications links and maintaining records, tickets and information flow. Proactive investigation or threat hunting using OSINT, social media, and other relevant data sources.

What will you be doing?


• The candidate will be required to be a self-starter able to identify and implement necessary tasks within their area of responsibility and the flexibility necessary to work within the JOC.
• Being part of a multifunctional team providing the technical services that deliver a world class Joint Operations Centre function.
• Supporting critical security activities which will ultimately drive security improvements and have a positive impact on security culture across Barclays and any dependent Business Divisions by providing its common, services and by sharing best practice. 
• Supporting and participating in a security response capability to ensure that Barclays can call on expert capability and respond rapidly to security events, any time any place.
• Providing support in the review of events, including notification, escalation response and post incident review including handover/takeover processes at shift change.
• Supports the execution of triage controls to detect and prevent attackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardising e-commerce programs.
• Delivers recommendations and actions to improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of security incidents.
• Shift work to ensure 24x7x365 coverage.

What we’re looking for:


• Confident, with the ability to remain calm, controlled and focused in pressure situations
• Ability to identify operational risks and issues in a fast time environment, and take proportionate and appropriate actions.
• A good understanding of a Corporate, Physical Security Environment.
