My client is an industry leading System Integrator and they are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer, across their Digital practice around the UK. This is a permanent position and represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their digital consulting career.

The role of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations Developer will be involved throughout the full project life cycle and perform duties such as working with client to understand requirements and deliver these through configuration or customisation in Dynamics 365 for Operations. You will be working on large and complex transformation Dynamics 365 for Operations projects and deliver outcomes which excite users and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work within a team of Microsoft technical specialists: architects, functional specialists, designers, engineers and developers, including both UK and India based colleagues
  • You will create leading edge Dynamics 365 for Operations solutions for their clients; working in either my client’s office or on client site
  • You will be working in a culture that delivers some of the biggest and most exciting IT programmes globally - built on the Microsoft platform
  • You are expected to be fully UK mobile and when necessary you will be expected to work away from home for extended periods of time (Monday to Friday)
  • You will be expected to cooperate with government security checks for certain types of projects (SC & DV clearance)

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations
  • Knowledge of the Dynamics 365 for Operations product covering Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR
  • C# / HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS

Key Technical Requirements include:
• Knowledge of Microprocessor x86 architectures (ideally including PCI Express).
• Knowledge of VPX technologies.
• Knowledge of embedded software applications.
• Exposure to networking architectures.
• System administration using Linux.

Strong communication skills are essential in order to provide customer facing support, to liaise with marketing and sales teams and to collaborate with third parties involved in a system solution.
Previous experience of working within an area related to the design of products used in harsh environments and to military standards would be useful.
